i dont even own any pets and im here.

IS THERE A PROBLEM?

my biggest tank is a 55 but it contains all soon to be monsters so im ok plus this site isnt just for monster fish its about animal lovers who happen to have monster fish thats why every once in a while you come across a thread that has something about birds or reptiles or any other small animal. Not everyone on this site can afford a 20000 gallon tank either so they may be dreamers but thats not illegal. This site is, like I said, about the love of animals so i dont understand why this thread was even brought up.

even if i didnt own fish i would frequent this forum

i know of no other site that contains even half the knowledge of the keepers we have here

to be able to read and see pictures of someone's passion is a connection to other humans...its what binds us all.

if you can't catagorise (sp) yourself with knowledge and/or gallons you should consider out sister site Aquaria Central before you consider MFK.

bummer, guess i gotta quit coming on mfk cause when i joined i had a 38g and about 2 weeks worth of fish owning knowledge.

without this site id still be in the iceage knowledge and gallonage wise. why dont you take my 505g total volume and distribute it out to "the less fortunate" so that everyone "belongs". im shure others would be willing to do the same.

mfk is not above any other site, and it is not an elite club. everyone gets upset and rants, me included, but there are NO requirements to be part of mfk fishwise.

I agree with all but the bold.

Some of the best tanks I have ever seen in my life were the 55-75g range

This is an aquarium community. Sure you may have bigger tanks then I do, but I'll give 10:1 odds that I have a more firm grasp of the microbiology that takes place in any aquatic environment then you do. Sorry if my contributions bother you
