alrigfht yea way off topic lets drop that . but yea ya know one thing someone mentioned mayan is supposed to have an attitude but he doesn't at all hes kind of a punk, he wont even go after minnows. my jag will fit 6 minnows in his mouth its hilarious lol

I have a female Jag, a male Texan, a male Oscar, a female Midevil, and a Pleco in a 125. All large. They get along well for the most part.

Plenty of females that are just as crazy and mean/aggressive if not more so then males. Plus females can add the hormone factor if they lay eggs that cause other fish to go nuts.

my advise would be enjoy it while it last, they are still small and thats why this works in a 125, but when they start to grow they will kill eachother

This. I had similar stock in our 8 footer for the first year and it was great. A year later and all but 3 cichlids have been moved because 12" cichlids don't play as nicely lol.

Now, we have a 135 and a 90 dedicated to temporary housing. Even before the Festae spawned we began having some issues between the Jag, Argentae and Festae, all around 12".

My 150g is overstocked, but things work for now. In December I plan on getting another tank for the females and keep the males in the 150g.

150g

6x two spot astyanax 3-6"
P. synspilum male 11"
A. Robertsoni female 10"
A. Rostratus 6.5" male(I think)
JD male 9"
Nic female 6"
HRP female 3"
T. Aureus 2.5-3"
P. loisellie male 5"

25g (completely replacing)
H. Deppi male 8"

The h. Deppi will go in the 150g w/ the other males and the 25g will be replaced w/ the largest tank for the final stock on the females. Not sure on the sex of the t. aureus yet.
So far I have no aggression problems and haven't for years. The only problem has been mixing the male h. Deppi w/ any female cichlid. Hopefully an all male set up will work.

Dude I also over stock my tank but at the moment most of my fishes are babies and I say that i have to enjoy it while it lasts because in no time they will start to grow big and I will have no more space, I believe this will also happen in your aquarium
