I've been an Accountant/Analyst/Corporate Slave for a integrated health care system for 12 years. Its not "dirty" in the normal sense, but it is definitely ugly. 90% of the administrative staff is women. They are so hateful, petty, and catty. I started here right out of college and was amazed out how much it is like high school it is with the gossip, clique mentality, back-stabbing, etc. Everyday I walk into the place, I die a little inside.
In college, I worked as a Meat Grinder at a plant that makes pork fritters, tenderloins, steak cutlets, vegetarian and regular corndogs. It had its moments of nastiness, but nothing as bad as the slaughterhouse the prepared the meat before I got it. Note everyday corndogs are good, but NEVER as good as they are right out of the fryer before hitting the blast freezer and sent to retail.
