... and for how long have the wolves been sharing the tank?

I am thinking about getting back into wolves, and ready to stock my 75 gal. I know some members have had luck with multiple red wolves in the same tank. I'd be interested in success stories with details such as cohab, tank size, feeding.

Thanks!

I would love to find another malabaricus to go with mine. He's currently alone in a 75 I know he's not an ery but still a wolf

I'm thinking of trying a purple wolf with my red wolf, not sure on it yet though the red would be a couple inches larger then the purple.. hopefully a death fight doesn't ensue

How long have you had them in the same tank for?
Great to hear that they have healthy growth. What are you feeding?

I was thinking a red wolf with my malabaricus but it would be way to small all the red wolves I found for sale are 3-4".

The purple wolves aquascape has right now are 5 inch, and there's a red hi fin wolf Jeff rapps has for 60 that's 6 inch, it has some incredible markings. I'd be skittish about trying any ery with any hoplias haha hops are kind of crazy at times

That's another I'm worried about. That's why I really wanted to find another malabaricus and even that is a gamble.

It's a pretty big gamble keep reds and commons together since malas have the potential to grow twice as big as a reds at full size.

malas don't usually tolerate bottom dwelling fish either. especially the smaller ones. Of course there are exceptions.

its only been like four weeks but there is this guy on here that has had four living together for years, i think the biggest one he has measure 9 or 10" as lots of hiding places is very important as he has posted in many of his own post. i'll try to find his name for you because he has gave me some great advice. here is a picture of mine.
