who has multiples ? double filter, double heater..

Yeah, I like doubles "twosomes"... sometimes even 'threesomes!' :D lol! Jk!

Just be sure to run each filter system, each heater system, etc. to two different surge protectors (plug strips) on two different outlet circuits. In case the power gets tripped or goes out on one outlet, you still have the other one running. Iinstead of having both systems on same power strip, with neither running in your tank.

And Li, if you consider on getting a backup generator... I would probably get just 1 single generator. No need to Double Up on that!! ;)
 
double filters on everything but the planted tank.. its the only one with a sump.. theres an extra pump that i use for water changes sitting next to it

massive amounts of extra cycled filter media in the sump as well...
theres a pile of extra heaters and hob filters around here somewhere
 
i have multiple heaters...
 
I use double filters on most tanks wet/dry - hob, hob - sponge. I use dual heaters in one tank a 150 & 250 ebo's the 250 is set 3 deg. below so it usually doesn't come on
