Who has owned Castexi/Otorongo Rays

Nice looking rays! Does anyone have info on how fast they grow. Since they get large I would assume they grow pretty fast. There are a lot of pics on these guys but not a lot of personal info out there.

mine went from 5" ish to 8" in about 2 months they grow quick

The ones I had are very aggressive eaters once you get them eating (after the initial import). Beautiful rays, I really like the pattern on the Otorongos myself.

They grow faster than any ray. Also the only ray I have ever had who would not take pellets. Personality? Keep them with tough rays as they will own the tank.

I have a 23" female that I have had for a month. She was very shy at first, but now is getting very friendly. She eats well. My two smaller rays (13" retic and 14" motoro) follow her around all day. Especially the 13" male. He is in love. They are in an indoor 12.5 X 15.5 pond - so lots of room for swimming.

Where in Michigan are you? I would really like to meet with some fellow keepers.
