Let’s see your pleco only tanks!

first tank has my super red bristlenose pair - I finally have eggs just found out yesterday

2nd tank has a wide range of my favorites L399, L400, L262, L114, L134 and more. Biggest 1 is about 4”.

3rd tank is my pineapple long fin bristlenose fry grow out tank. I added 30 of this about 2 months ago.
I almost forgot I had 9 clown pleco juices in there too

I have 12 permanent, species only, breeding and grow tanks for individual plecos. All are Hypancistrus from the Big bend of the Rio Xingu. I am retironng from the hoby in the nex two years and am outing it all. I have two groups of zebras, 2 groups of L236 one from the Budrovcan line, 2 groups of L173 one are wild caught fish and I have one group of super white :236 from the Budrovcan line. Finally I have Two groups of zebras. I have also worked with but no longer keep P. compta, H. contradens, and Hypans L173b and L450. I started with tank strains of BN.

My pics are mostly of the fish not the tanks.

It took close to 5 years to get to 450. my 236 and 173 are even mor4e prolific. The super whites are just starting to crank up. I moved 49 offspring to a grow tank about a month ago and it looks like there are 25-30 new babies already.

Covid stopped my selling or trading my offspring but it did not stop the breeder from keeping on.

Thos zebra babies are how I got all the rest ?
