Just out of curiosity, what is the size of your captive bred silver aro for all you silver aro keepers out there? Yes, they can grow upto 35" in the wild but what about in captivity in a pond or tank? Please post some pics of your monster aro to show a size comparison. Here' a pic of mine @ 22".

first how do you know it's captive bred? Why would that matter on how big it gets?

Record silver aro caught fishing is 47". TLkmDN has a few very large arowana, one he claims is 48" http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/member.php?22112-TLkmDN

My two silvers aro in the 29-30" range, check the link in my signature if you want to see them.

Wild caught fish have more room to grow and reach larger sizes than inclosed captive fish. Thats why larger fish are usually wild caught.

WTF are you talking about. Were not talking fish that grew up in the wild. Or you saying that a small juvi wild collected fish raised in a tank is gonna grow bigger then one that was bred in a tank?
