My biggest endy in my tank now is a 15 inches male.

I must have taken some stupid pills today. I what I meant was I think that the big Polypterus is P. Endlicheri Congicus and not P. endlicheri endlicheri. Since it doesn't have any markings. It looks like the ones shown in the Jurassic Fish book.

I second that its a P. endlicheri congicus. Its far too large to be a senegal.
Personally i think it looks like a fake though.

Whi;e on the subject of giant birchirs, Could it be Birchir birchir in that picture?

Then again, birchir birchir has definatel stripes down its body, so unless its an extremely pale individual.
