I'm a obvious noob to Rays, how often do they dump the stingers?

They shed them on average about 2-3 times a year sometimes more depending on the age of the ray, how much it's fed. etc.

Right on...they seem to be really gentle from what I've read.
Seems a perfect match to the Aro too. A somewhat wider, and less deeper tank would work perfect...They both need turnaround room / wide area, more than depth...
Hrmmmm...(me thinks- how long till Christmas?)
