IMO-
I find nearly everyone over estimates their fishes size by at least 1.5 to 2 inches

Yeah the tail bar looks more like a fenestratum.

I had a 13" male blackbelt a while back, but he was pretty slim compared to the chunky monsters pictures here!

Unless you hands are about 10-12 inches I would say that guy is 14-15 inches. You don't look like a big dude. Nice fish though
