The rockbass in my av is 7in not really a monster yet. I had a 12'' perch a few years back. Before I joined mfk all I really had was natives. I also had a real big brown bullhead 14'', pretty big for the species.

They do get big over time. The species max size is 17 inches, but the biggest I have caught was around 10-11''. They are a very fun fish to have and I don't like recommending 55's, you would be ok for a while, but bigger is better and you would be way better off with a little more width. Something like a 75 or a 90 would be great!

and a 14" brown bullhead sounds like a nice fish i loved my BB when i had him i grew him from 2.5" to 7" i about 6 months.
