I remember reading a thread you posted and was thinking you are a VERY dedicated fish keeper id say its very uncommon since theyre more vegetarian but weve all said it before...big fish eat little fish.
i had a pacu that was 20 but after it ate everything in my tank and killed my bubble rock it ate threw a wire from the filter that accidentally fell in the pool and got electrocuted. it was too bad because that was the craziest fish ive ever seen. i think the guy that sold it to me lied and actually sold me a pirhana instead of a pacu lol
Here is my monster..although he is very gentle hanging out with his friend the red devil.. the red devil looks like he is comparing himself...hmmmm just wait until i am as big as you...
defenitly not the biggest,But probably the beast looking!!!!Here is my guy sitting at the 18 inch mark right now!!!!!
How sweet he is... round and healthy...mine are a little banged up since theres two and they race each other back and forth, and then there are Oscars in there {they are coming out this week} they pick on the pacu.. i see you have little fish in with him and that is what i plan to do..they are really peaceful natured fish and would enjoy some small ones to swim with.. very nice picture.
Thanks for the kind words sir-I keep my guy with a wide variety of fish,big and small!!!!!This guy is perfect in everyway!!!!!!!!!He even hand feeds now!!!!!
