Holy crap man, that's one hell of a beast show!! I've always been interested in the differences between aimara of different areas, how has the growth rate compared to the different localities? Any difference at all? I have noticed a difference in general jaw shape as far as locality goes, I'd like to know if there's any behavioural differences

Since I didn't get them at the same size, I can't really tell if there's any difference in growth rate. As for aggression, the one from Venezuela seems to tolerate other Aimara better than the one from Surinam. However, the one from Surinam tolerate other fish better than the one from Venezuela. They equally don't like human. They tolerate human better when they grow older, may be getting tired of seeing us, but they're psycho glass banger when they're under 14"-15"

Thank you, Tom. He was quite beat up when I initially got him. I know a few people who sold theirs when the colors were kind of dull at 4" or so. In my experience the colors only get better with age.
