When it comes to aros it's not about how many you keep but how well can you raise a single one to its best potential possible. Especially when keeping high end asian aros.

BTW african arowana and arapaimas are not even true arowana species.

In some cases, classing Africans and Paimas as Aros does tend to work. Yes, they arent true, but they can still be considered "Arowanas" moreso than other Bonytongues such as Mormyrids, Goldeye, and Clown Knives.

So that's means you can add african butterfly fish since they look more like true aros than afro aro and pima. Lol! Another common name for P. afer is also called arowana knifefish can I add that too since it got the arowana name on it. Lol!

if we are counting pimas can we go by size of the pima also cause it would make it that i have 17 aros one over 7 ft lol.
