Dude trust me the Teug is worth it. I used to think they look too much like retros, but that was ignorance, they have a very unique look, very nice color and dark pattern too.
Do you prefer the darker olive green tinkisso, or the more red/brown guineas, volta, etc.. endli?
I like the darker green. The tank raised ones I have are more of the tan base color with the dark stripes.
I have a small retro growing out in another tank and hoping it will darken up but not 100% on the id as it came from a more generalized wholeseller.
I have a local friend that is wanting to sell me his 16" Teug so I am really considering it.
I just noticed that my 6 to 7" Weeksii either still has nubs from his gills or has regrown little ones.
I need to add more plants to my tank as I love the way it brought out the green of the bichirs in Ewe's tank
