Who has the most pets?

Good lord.. wish I had room and funds for that kind of stuff... how much does it cost you to care for everyone? If you don't mind me asking, I know reptiles need vet visits just like any other animal, but most herp owners do not do it.. Iy cost us quite a bit when we found a sick savannah monitor on the side of the road... she was about 3' when we found her..

We sell off the offspring to pay for the cost of everything. I have a VERY good relationship with my vet. He also gives me discounts on stuff. I DO take my herps to the vet when they are sick. However, I am able to do some stuff on my own through the help of my vet.
Good for you for saving the savannah - I do know that vet visits cost A LOT!

'Liz' was a sweetie, she'd lay on my lab and go to sleep while I stroked her, I hear alot of people saying the herps have no real emotion, but I do know she loved to be scratched.
I was about 6 at the time, and my parents made me sell her, because they thought she'd attack me.. if I still had her, she'd be a big girl by now.. I got a hamster after I sold her, and it bit through my finger
She was more lovable than that little craphead.

2 dogs - Ziggy a white maltese, and most recent addition Akina a dog my boyfriend and I adopted, we believe she is a Karelians Bear Dog and possibly mixed with a European Lakia(sp).

Yes they are.. I've only met one I liked. And then a cat ate her.

I wish I still had my savannah, she was beautiful.. and ate anything you gave her, so I didn't need to buy frozen rats all the time... which get pretty expensive. I also owned an iguana, which the parents also made me get rid of, because she hated everyone but me, and bit my mom on the face. She'd quite happily sit on my shoulder or sleep under her heat lamp in my room.

I wasn't even handling the rat when it bit me, I had my hand on his cage. Vicious.
