Mine looked more along the lines of that one.
I have kept a few Brokopondo and it seems like some keep the spangling on the body some don’t, some have crazy dirty spots with a bright gold rim around the dirty spot almost like there are different types of Brokopondo kind of like kelberi.
SePPii
definitely has a some special brokos very spangled.
Some examples of the brokos I have owned and currently own all of my brokos have come from Wes
This one is F1 very brightly colored depending on lighting can look gold or bright green and the outline around the dirty spots is one continuous solid gold line. I posted a video you can see this fish is very bright
This one went through a ugly duckling stage went completely brown and dark skin. Then it turned the corner into this still has a very prominent gold rash with gold spangling around the dirty spots gorgeous Broko imop
The one on the left is f1 same as first pic different lighting, on the right wild caught same batch as above pic
This one was my very first Broko WC first pic was when I first got her lower pic was after I had her for about 6 months you can see how the dirty spots morph. This sexy girl actually laid eggs for me but I didn’t have a male for her to pair with.
Same Broko from above 3rd pic down few months later looks to be getting a nuchal hump and still has prominent gold rash.
