so, uh, what happens to everybodiy's aros? you kill them off? SHouldn't they normally be living 10-15 years? Pretty sad that all these wonderful expert "monster fish" keepers can't keep their aros alive more than a couple of years.
Not pointing fingers... just curious. I am shocked that nobody has any older fish.. or perhaps those who do just keep quiet about it.
I've had neon tetras longer than 4 years...
sory but I don`t believe that arowanas can live more then max 25 years, but it`s just what I think !38-40 year old (the owner not sure ) Red Arowana from Thailand

this is almost always the case...so sad ..cover those tanks with heavy board... they are true jumpers... this is how we lose 99% of them.. i will not lose mine this way.. i just hope she does not jump and hit her head.. but not as bad as falling to the floor 5 ft below and lying there unnoticed..Arrows are suppose to live up to 60 years in the wild.well there is the old horror of them jumping and diying ive lost 2 blacks this way. and today my fist silver did the same hes still alive and is about 2 years.
