who has the oldest Arowana on MFK?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi. My Jardini, Adriana the Arowana...hehehe, was 14 years old and about 30" when she passed away this year. All of a sudden, she just kept trying to jump out, I guess. She only tried that once before and that was about two years ago and we heard her flopping on the floor and thought someone broke into the house because it was so loud. When she died, she didn't actually jump out of the tank but ended up banging herself up and passed away three days later.

Can anyone tell me how you can get arowanas to live together? I saw a picture of a member with two Jardinis together with Flowerhorns and Frontosas. I've tried five at one time and they ended up killing each other at around 4". Adriana was one of three that we got and she killed her other two tank mates within a few weeks.

Thanks!
