who has the same problem?

It seem like my tank never crytal clear. I know i got plenty of filteration, but im not sure why my tank never clear. It's up and running about a year. I do 50% of water change weekly.

I got a pool filter sand in there.

40g wet/dry sump full with bio balls and pad.
2 xp3
2 AC110

Are these not enough filtration? does anyone have the same problem?....

How often do you replace your pad?

maybe a sponge filter would help?I use them in all my tanks and my water is clear,the only thing i do not like is they are ugly.

i mean my tank are clear but not Crystal Clear. I change the pad in the sump every 6month. and i heaven't touch the xp3 yet.

oh and the tank are 180g

you got to change the pads in the XP3 i had my FX5 running for like 2 months and my water started to look like crap and i didn't understand why till i pulled out the FX5 and looked in it and MAN was it a mess.

so take down the canisters and replace the pads that should help... at least it did for me

Is it particulate mater, algae or very fine bubbles?

You could put polishing pads in one of the xp3.

first thing I would try is to cut back on the feeding.

99.9% of the time a hazy tank that is established is getting a bit too much food, creating a bacterial bloom which causes the haze.

try feeding every other day for a week and see if the problem goes away,
