I am interested to know if the fish will develop the same colouration as the fish taken or caught in their native rivers.
I know many Australian native fish species are differentiated by the river systems they live in and get many of the unique colours from the water conditions found in those rivers i.e. Tannins.
Is that the case with Cichla??
Will the fish display the same colouring generation after generation after being removed from the native river systems??
