Who have some experience with EBJD?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would take all those things (active, growing fast etc) as a good sign, and a EBJD of 8-10cm is a rare find in a shop! I would go for it but make sure you know the pH and hardness of the water in the shop compared to your parameters at home. My EBJD is doing really well in neutral, soft-medium hardness of water and the temperature makes a real difference too - bump it up to 28ºC. He loves to eat brine shrimp and blood worm!

Ok! get it!! I guess I'll buy him today! I think this is a one in a kind fish here in my country, so I can't lose this opportunity! I'll make a post to show it to you once I buy it! Thanks again for your help!

They are selling the EBJD for $40... But they are also selling some awesome wild blue discus! hahaha what a dilema!!

If you have really soft acidic water and are prepared to do large water changes weekly, buy the discus, if your water is neutral with medium hardness get the EBJD! Also depends on what your tank mates will be. If they are semi aggressive cichlids then the discus may not fair that well.

Oh don't worry! I have discus too! I do daily water changes anyways... Thanks for the advice!
