Who here believes in sea monsters?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What about giant fish that evolve in the future? ;) Maybe in 5000000 years, our crogenically frozen bodies will revive and see something even better than Nessie!

Hahaha just a thought

Not all fish that die float above water. Some whale die and sink to the bottom of the ocean floor. Watch my link and they will show you a dead whale getting eating by a deep sea bottom shark. Most animal in the while have longer life range than we human do. So something might be moderate size don't mean there isn't one that super size. Monster or not, we haven't even scratch the bottom of the ocean so it hard to tell there isn't any monster or ancient species down there.

Even if dead animals don't float (and many do or at least end up on shore) most of the "monsters" people claim to see are reptiles and reptiles breath air. Some people say megalodon may survive in the deep oceans but megalodon could not survive in the depths of the sea, it was an animal that likely lived much like today's white shark and the deep sea could not support such an apex predator. And we would have found SOMETHING by now. Fresh teeth, whales with bite marks etc. The more you know about the ocean and the things that live in it the more difficult it is to believe that any prehistoric relics or monsters are still alive today. I used to believe in all sorts of stuff but the more I learned the smaller the world got. I wish I could believe in these things but logically I cannot. No doubt there are animals left undiscovered but they aren't "monsters". Though I suppose that depends on what your definition of a monster is.

I wouldn't jump the gun too fast. Even scientist said we haven't even scratch the surface of the ocean yet, we haven't even reach 1% volume of ocean water yet. Plus most deep water ocean fish or reptiles goes up for air and feeding at night. Which make it harder to spot or even capture any. This was proven for most deep sea creature. I am not a scientist so i would only speculate. Plus defining monster is up to individual person. Some might think it ugly looking fish are monster, some think 12' are monster some think it has to be bigger than most whale species. I still think there something larger and probably prehistoric that not yet been effected due to it living style.

1% fact was taken off a website, due to people creating website it not 100% correct but close enough.

Why? Every time we discover something we end up destroying it. I say the more left undiscovered the better. Let them look at the moon and mars, at least there isen't anything for them to destroy up there.

+1

Discovery doesn't breed destruction, exploitation does.

You betcha! No doubt what so ever about them. Giant squids, Loch ness monster, sea serpents, anything in the cryptozoology ........well almost anything (Chupacapbra????) 100% for sure!!!

They actually found a Chupacabra, they're a type of dog though, weird looking little guys. That Colossal Squid qualifies as the kind of sea monsters!!!

I'm from Scotland so YES i do believe in NESSIE but your are all right on this subject, the only thing that i am afraid is those bastards that think they have to tear apart these animals that have not evolved since their creation onto this planet, sometimes its a shame to be called a human being but i guess thats what we do!!!
