who here has been told they are obsessing?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dont start a war......hehe....my wife gets jelous of my fish,"oh you pay more attention to them than me" i say you lucky imagine if i started paying attention to going to the pub and football like mates at work<that shuts her up

My wife and kids dont bother me about it anymore esp after wathcing hundreds of tanks come and go over the years.I use get it bad the first few years then it quickly fades as you get everyone involved including the neighbors.By the way thats the key to it all educating them and having them participate.

my gf says that all the time, she calls this site my" fish friends" but she cried when i got rid of my oscar, and wouldnt let me get rid of my FH. i just dont understand, its not an obsession its a passion.

i've been told that about cars. now, i'm starting to switch from cars to fish, so i'll probably get it for that.

I kinda did the same thing. Went from cars to Home Theater, to Aquariums, to Photography, back to Aquariums, back to Home Theater, and once again to Aquariums. I think there is a parttern here. :screwy:

"Everything in Moderation" wait a minute, did I really just say that?? Some obsessions are probably less " harmful" than others but it should never get to the point where any "hobby" takes too much time away from friends, responsibilities and family. If things get to that point you'll probably find yourself staring at your tank all alone! I am sure that STILL doesn't sound too bad to some of us?
