The black shubunkin in my photo at my name is 12" plus the tail that hangs out another 4" so that puts her at 16" or so. She is getting old now 10. Her fins do not stand as tall as they use to. She is about 3lbs. Last year she at a cory. It did not make it down. We had to do emergency surgery!. I sedated her with clove oil and a friend and I did the work of getting the fish out of her mouth. She made it through the process. She delivered about 1000 eggs in the bucket while recovering!

I cant remember which one I had in my tank for a while but it was one of these, they both weighed over 5lbs

Anyways, this gal was in my tank for a week until my buddy put it in his pond. My GF at the time caught it with the net, I caught a smaller one at the time. Soon as I find the video I will post it.
