ah i gotcha there. i think a water change would be real easy with a canister filter. especially if you just leave the media parts open, then they really push some water. plus the hoses they come with are so long that it could work.

2 male motoros (8") 1 female (11"). A colony of fronts (2m 9f, about 4-6") and a silver aro about 20". They are in a 210g with 3 xp3's, (not enough) planning on building a pond for them all this winter.
I did 15 discus in there before the fronts and they got along great until the aro grew a little to fast and started to eat the smaller discus. But the rays themselves never seemed to care about them.
