I just toss the food in.

My wolf actually swims towards and follows my tongs and expects food from there. I like the interactive feeding. If I simply toss the shrimp in, he just gulps it down and that's it. I have him work for his food and it's fun to watch.

I feed my Tig with tongs. If I didnt, he wouldnt get any food.

I see alot of people here and on LFS's using feeding sticks and tongs. It seems to me that you would stab a fish in the mouth or eye when the fish strikes. Is it just me or is this an issue? I never have or never will use feeding sticks or run with scissors.

what your fish loose and eye or a nut because of tongs? dont assume its dangerous unless youve tried it yourself, tongs and feeding prongs where the best way I could get food to my tigrinus and my bichir. An no they didnt get hurt
