ok so i might get a job at the lfs for when i turn 14(i will be working for 1-2 days a week, minimal pay or for mice for the snake and fish food) and was wondering who here works at their lfs?

When i was out of a job I was thinking about it. considering we spend so much damn money at the LFS, I thought it would be beneficial! lol. But I found a different job before I put in an application. Good luck!
.I work in a veterinary clinic/ petstore. When I was starting out keeping fish it was great. I'd get all excited when a new order would come in and I'd spend all my pay on the pretty mollies or angelfish. Then I discovered MFK; Those fish werent good enough anymore lol.
I still like it though, I can order in exactly what I want and I get discounts. The customers (and some of the staff) most of the time drive me mad but when it becomes too much I can do a bit of vet nursing, so I really do like working there.

^thats why i wanna work there, i can order in whatever fish i think are gonna be cool, then get a discount!!! i will take the pay over pet food now that you mention it, what was i thinking

thats a good deal tho to pay for your critters.
i wanted to do somethin like that but its more benifitial if i got a plain boring job that paid more.

Yeah I was thinking of trying to work at one of my LFS when I turn 14 too (Next Year) Sounds kinda fun and one of my LFS never gets any good fish in so hopefully I could get some more business booming.
I've worked at mine for about three years, its nice enough but some days you feel like an executioner
