Cute Syno, I was going to guess S. nigriventris or eupterus. It doesn't look like a eupterus to me though? It looks like a hybrid between the two I mentioned. cool little guy though, I love my syno cat, it feels secure in the weirdest places!
 
Yeah it's a hybrid, the so called S. zebrinus, mad made, not sure of the mix. Ive heard of these fish growning abnormally large and agressive. Hybrids are always a wild card, goodluck!

I just looked it up on Planetcatfish.com and yeah it does look similar. I feel pretty special if it is :D lol
How fast might he grow?
