Who is using UV filter with their rare plecos?

I have ups on one of my tanks, the other one is just battery back up for aerator. battery kicks on if there is power outtage, might get small generator too but know on wood, we havent had any long power outage by me the last 8years I lived here. Power outages typically last couple mins to about 2 houra

UV sterilizers is an effective means for disease prevention and also improves the chance of a fish's survival/recovery when infected. It also controls algae blooms and any discolor in the water keeping your water crystal clear. I've notice when I don't run a uv sterilzer my water is not as clear as when I do. If you have a heavily populated tank, i strongly recommend one.
