I have three sterbai corys that are six years old and still kicking. I have three of their fry that are a couple of years old also.
thats great.. :D:D

i don't have many fish left from when my hubby got me back into fish keeping. i have the stupid oscars (Rocky and Toni) and Pinky the arowana and his RTC (Lucy). all are around 3 years.. going on 4 now i guess.

i've had to almost completely start over with my cichla after my disaster last October. but i got some pretty awesome orinos and monos from another MFKer and i still have my orinos that i raised from 1" fry.

i got the stand for the 240 last week, and i'm ready to start resealing the tank itself. so i should have some extra tank room here pretty soon for growing out more cichla.. hehehe

wow............................:nilly:thats great

My oldest is a blue gourami, i've had her 2 years, since i first started keeping fish. She survived my 72* water that i had in the tank for almost 6 months. She lived through 2 complete die-outs from ick. She also somehow got up inside my HOB filter and i couldn't find her for almost a week.

She now lives in a planted 20H with all my bluegill feeders.

i wonder how long their life span actually is... i have a spotted and striped raphael.... and they are fat and full grown... they are awesome...

I had mine for 10 years until he finally died. It felt kinda bad, but everyone hated him - for some reason he looked 1/2 dead for about 3 years before he died all bloated. Was fun to have a 10 year old raf though.
