I think bigger. But ive never seen one or heard one keep an frt bigger than 16 inches. IMO it will take a few years for the frt to hit 15.

The only time a FRT male is on land is the race from nest to water. Females only return to shore to lay eggs. I leave a basking spot in the tank but, my FRTs have never used it in the 3 years I've had them.

Rayman - ours is 1.5 years old and theyre only like 5-6 inch in diameter right? I havent taken the time to measure ..

How long would a 150 gallon last them?
they max at 24" carapace in the wild, probably smaller in captivity.. but it would take a long time to reach this as i've grown mine from 3.5" to 8" carapace (or shell diameter) and its been with me for 3 years now
