who keeps tortoises?

I have a tortoise table for her, sand soil mix for digging, heat lamp and UV, but in summer when it's warm enough (we had a very good summer here this year!) she spends a lot of time trudging about outside. She likes a lot of space !!

more like requirements, do I need to sink the base into the ground, if so how deep, etc. just a list of things.
 
Got a sulcata as a hatchling several years ago off a guy on this forum. Not a cute little guy any more.

Got these 2 months ago. They are adopted turtles and yes she is pyramyding because she was walking free in the former owners house with 4 cats.
She ate a lot of catfood during that time.
She is starting to eat her veggies and fruits now and she is doing fine.

Good to hear. Good job. I just got a redfoot for Christmas, but I'm getting him once it warms up.
