metal music isnt using your heads

if u want music check out bob marley, kanye west, coldplay, vampire weekend, or JACK JOHNSON
Metal music isn't using your head? How much intellect do you think it takes to remember every note on a complete album of speed metal on the guitar?

You suggest that if I want music I should listen to one such artist as Kayne West. No thanks, I prefer talent.

what does being african american have to do with what type of music you like/listen to? i listen to all types of music. to me its all about the lyrics, so for me most of the "hip hop" on the radio (which is actually rap music and not true hip hop but this is a whole other discussion) gets thrown out the window. nowadays its all about making money and crossing over. "let me make a catchy hook over a beat people can dance to to get a quick buck!" for real hip hop these days you have to listen to underground. i listen to just about every kind of music out there. from mf doom to fallout boy to johnny cash to keane to old school faye wong...and on and on. i enjoy throwing in some heavy metal when working out. i can't tell you how many extra forced reps i got off of listening to mudvayne's "dig" or system of a down's "sugar" back in the day.

oh yeah and soulja boy...almost zero talent but the song was catchy and the entire country was doing his dance. didn't bother me much until i found out what "superman that ho" meant. after that i had to man my younger sisters and cousins from that song. i'm sure if 99% of the people how sing and dance to that song knew what he was talking out they'd be mortified.

i know! there are grade 3 classes singing that song for dance class (gym) at the school here:screwy:

wonder what 'soulja boy' thought when he found out that 6 year olds were listening to his song?(?)

What does superman that hoe mean? Sorry for being almost 30 lol

im a fan of hip/hop and rap and i found nothing good about this song. it sucks that people can get rich quick off of stuff like that when we are out here slaving all day and just getting by. But thats life i guess.....:screwy:

Could you make and produce some of the lyrics though and beats he makes in another category of music....?.....I think not what 6 grammys first album and a bunch of golden globes and others....

It is supersoak that ho and I hope I do not get in trouble for saying that, the words explain themselves.
