Who lives in a trailer/mobile home?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't now, but when I was a kid, we lived in one until I was 10 years old. We never had anything bigger than 55 gallon. I bought my 125 from a guy in a mobile home, a pretty old one, and he said all he did to reinforce the floor was run one extra floor joist.

Good to know....Did he say how old his trailer was, perchance?

Lol it's a double wide and I'm pretty sure a 180 will hold up ... N no not bragging just curious

We live in a double wide - my mom, dad and brother and I. I have my tank in my room at the far end of the house. It was built in like the 70's and is literally falling apart around us. Not cool. Anywho, I want a bigger tank and my dad keeps shooting me down because he says the floor would never hold it. (I've got a 55, BTW) So I guess it depends on how old your trailer is and whether the park just gives it to you in exchange for someone to clean it up...lol.

I lived in a yurt one summer. :)

Those are interesting...A little off topic but I always liked those old buildings that they used to use in the Marine Corps. The ones that look like big metal trash cans lying on the ground that were their living quarters..
