Who loves bass boats?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Be careful with these, one of the best marine mechanics in the area killed himself last summer on a custom bullet with a motor over 300hp, boat was said to top out around 110+ MPH. Steering cable broke during WOT, motor torqued, he had no chance.

I got a chance to drive a buddys ranger at speeds of 70MPH and for some reason I am more comfortable doing that in a PWC then the boat! It sure can make an early August morning feel cold!

Saying that, if I could drop $45k on boat and just bass fished I would. However, Id prefer a large aluminum semi-v with CC in the 20ft range, perfect for banging around the river!

I for one love evinrude engines the best got a 70h on the 16 ft javelin

I love flats boats... its the best of both worlds. No carpet, huge amounts of storage, capable of 75+mph, can run in 10'' of water, float in 12'', the poling platform for visibility, trolling motor, live wells, center console....

I never brought a real bass boat but I LOVE THEM!!!

I perfur flat bottom boats cause it allows you to beable to get up in a very shallow spot, and some time thats needed to target that monster bass layin up in there feeding on sunnies!!!

Here is my baby!!!!!

I just bought a new boat but I had to have a boat big enough to handle my family on occasion so I went with a 2000 21ft pontoon with 4 swivel seats (2 in front 2 in back), wrap around couch, livewell, 45lb thrust minn kota trolling motor, cannon downrigger, 70hp Mercury 4-stroke, rod and tackle box storage. Bought it for 5k.
