i dont think i would ever want to have one in my house in fear it would try to eat my children.... but i would love to see some in action one day.... its one thing to see them in the movies another the see them on youtube but then to see thing like tha in person is just amazing

i found piranhas more exciting when they were small and developing. once they grow they seem to calm down quite a bit

Piranhas are really active fish! You just need a big enough tank for them, if not they will just sit there and do nothing but float

if your scared they will eat your children just take out a very large insurance policy on them. problem solved

im using a large rubber maid garbage can. i have my reaters in it some egg crate at the top with filter materrial on top of that.and about 10 lbs of carbon in the bottom.with a diy overflow.taken off this site
