Who makes a 60X24X18 tank? I see the Marineland and Aqueon both make tanks that are 60X18 base X24 high tanks. But I'd rather have a 60X24 base to give some extra footprint size for bigger fish.

It seems like this has to be a standard size for some company. 5'X2' base would be a great size for some of the bigger cichlids (not Dovii or Umbee). I'm figuring it's the perfect "wet pet" tank footprint. A standard 75 just seems a bit too small, and I think the standard 120 being only 4 feet long would be better if it had an extra foot of swimming length.

Even a 60X24X24 tank would rock if someone made one of those.....But I just don't think I need the extra 6" of height for a wet pet cichlid since footprint seems to be the biggest factor. Especially since it's going to require thicker glass (more expensive).

Are you looking for glass or acrylic? I have used a couple companies for tanks that have "non-standard" dimensions. glasscages.com (glass and acrylic) and truvuaquariums.com (just acrylic) both offer custom tanks and they both offer a nice amount of options to spec the tank out. Hope this helps.

Nothing custom. That's the problem. I just want a cheap glass box. For example, I can pick up marine land 75 gallons for $75 + tax at the lfs. I don't want to spend $400 on a 125 gallon tank, so I'm trying to find out if there is anyone out there making them in a stock size like marine land/perfectos/aga/aqueon does for so many standard tank sizes. This just seems like one of those sizes that should be standard.

That 75 gallon tank for $75 sounds like a steal. I just bought a 120 gallon high tank with a hood and a light for $529....you can check out how much everything costed me over here: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...-120-Gallon-High-Aquarium-Setup-and-Questions

I do know that Petsmart sells a Top Fin 120 Gallon tank (60X26X18). At my local Petsmart it is $350 for the tank, hood, and light. I'm sure you could find it cheaper than me as all tanks around me are triple the price as other areas. I'm also pretty sure Marineland makes a 120G with the same dimensions as well. I'm pretty sure Aqueon does not though and neither does Deep Blue Professional. For custom tanks your best bet would probably be glass cages as they have decent prices. Good luck
