I have to sneak in the new tanks and fish while she's at work and hope she doesn't notice. Then when she does I get this goofy look on my face and she starts laughing. She hates the fact that she can't stay mad at me. hehe

i have to sneek and buy fish when i can. I never have money so i have to tell her i needed gas or something, then after a few weeks i able to stash a few bucks. As for as tanks, no way, She HATES the fish and lets everyone know it. My kids like them, but man i have a hard time with her. She will not even go to the fish stores with me anymore.
I have a 125 gal and a 55 gal now and thats it. Now,i have now room to my own,these tanks or in the living room so i guess i understand, what i dont understand is whats it to her. She does not have to do a thing to them, i do all the work and keep up. Ahh well, i guess what i get for being a stay at home dad...

I'm trying to circumvent the problem. My good friend recently got a tank from her aunt, and she's getting really into the fish thing.
We're looking for 'pink fish'. I hope I marry her some day... she's one of those "I wont put my hands in the tank, but the fishies are my lil babies" type of girls. Cuuuute!
But as of right now, I'm only limited by my cash flow vs bills ratio.

The cute girl at my LFS was content with her 30g. Then she found out I have 15 tanks with water in them (she doesn't know about the other 156). She asked if I have a tank in every room. I told her about my tanks, and now she just got her second tank. She made it a point to tell me she eventually wants a tank in every room...I think I am in luv
