I think native fish to have is great, I want some bluegill, sunfish, crappie and all that.

Had a bull head once and in the pond has one bluegill

I also had at one time a Crappie and a Northern Pike.

Mostly green sunfish. I had a yellow perch that never ate and then died . I have a longear sunfish now and a largemouth bass, along with one adult male green sunnie from the feeder tank at my LFS.

I used to have a tadpole madtom, too! Mine was never shy and usually active. Until he got old and died of natural causes. But I love catfish mostly because of that one fish.

I've kept a few, yellow belly, silver perch, tandanus cats. now i only have my murray cod. So native to me but exotics to everyone whos not aussie!
