Who saw the River Monsters Snakehead episode?

my friend is fl right now and just called me about an hour ago. he said he caught a ''brown stripped snakehead''. i think it might be a cobra. either way i told him to ship it to me. hopefully he can. he said it was about a foot long. if its legit i might fly out there and see what i can catch and ship back to myself.

I like all of the River Monster shows. The series is great. I think that they do over dramatize, for the sake of TV. They often go to commercial break and attempt to leave you on the edge of your seat, but that's what the electronic media does. It keeps one from changing the channel during the commercial break. Radio does the same thing. Gone are they days of Wild Kingdom, with Marlen Perkins and Jim. In those days, you got just the bare facts, without much drama, although they gave you a little bit. River Monsters is a great show and I want to see more. I just hope Wade does not run out of freshwater fish to feature for each episode.

Didnt that bullseye shakehead look like the great snakehead (c. marulius) ? Is it the same ?

loved the episode those things are so cool when they jump apparently theve gotten as far as Pennsylvania cant wait till they get to NJ it'll be a disaster but it will be fun fishing...
