who says goldfish aint monsters

I was canoeing in a shallow grassy river once and seen a very large 20-24" bright gold coloured fish similar to that swiming for about 45 seconds. not sure what it was but it was a fair bit bigger than that.
 
Probably koi.

hmm i wish i can say thats carp but god i dont see barbels..so it has to be a huge goldfish lol
 
I must agree, it's one big monster of a Gold Fish. I'd like to see it swimming around in a 200 gal. All of the fins must be pretty sight to behold when they are extended to their potential. I wouldn't mind having one.
