Im looking at orderring a 200 gallon range acryllic tank and possibly another around the 400 size. I just want to get peoples opinions on who I should order from. Ive started looking around online but I dont want to base my decision solely on price and end up with something im not happy with or horrible service if something is wrong once the tank shows up.
Any input is appreciated.
Oh and Happy Birthday to all my fellow Marines!

Oh and Happy Birthday to all my fellow Marines!

I'm fairly sure tenecor is popular. They do acrylic only IIRC.

If you could refrain from putting your titles in ALL CAPS, everyone would appreciate it.

I have no idea what the deal is with why it does, or does not matter about the title being in caps. Anyway, I think Tenecor, and glasscages would be up there for me. HOORA! HAPPY B-DAY MARINES! what is it like 235 now?

craigslist is a cheaper alternative. But buyer beware

Ive been checking out craigslist but have not seen great deals like I used to in California. Also lots of small tanks.

Yup its 235 years! is there a good vendor here to go through?

If money is not an issue, SeaClear, Clear For Life, Tenecor. Otherwise, just check Craiglist or MFK daily. You'll never know... :naughty:

If you are thinking about getting a used tank posted wanted ads specifying precisely what you are looking to buy. The worst that can happen is you don't get any responses.

Oh I looked at your location and saw Cali and thought you were still there. I will occasionally look at some of the California CLs and get green with envy with how plentiful and cheap big tanks are out there.

You can try using SearchTempest to search Craigslist. It allows you to put in a zip and it will search all the CLs in a X mile radius, it is pretty slick. You may get lucky and find a big cheap one if you open your search.

good luck!

also my cousin is a deployed Marine, thanks for your service.
