I'm sure the split right down the middle poll really helped you out. lol. There's definetely alot to think about. At this point what's your gut telling you?

oh yes, that helped a lot.
I'm gonna redo the 75g so it can be for either the blue diamond or the wolf.
will keep the blue in the as of now as the wolf can probably still hang in my 10g for few weeks.
then i'll see how the blue behaves with the new aquascape and then decide rather it'll be better for it in the big tank with Ares or should stay in the 75g.

tell your wife if she lets you get it a tank then you will buy her somthing specail

but make sure that every 10$ that is spent on her you get to increase the tank size 20gal
so lets say you spend 100$ on her then you get a 200gal tank and put one of the rhoms in it and put the 75 dwn stairs with the wolf and put the 100gal+ new tank upstairs with the rhom

works out perfectly ;) :nilly:

If this helps...............My wolf and RBP are side by side in 2x55 gals...........usually I have a piece of cardboard inbetween the two tanks so they can't see each other. When company comes or just for my own amusement I'll remove the cardboard.
Them 2 Freak! both flaring and bitting at each other thru the glass. The Wolf's 10" the RBP is 7-8" ..................very entertaining

thanks for the advise, if followed by your rule then the tank will be too big to enter my basement, you know what I mean ;) I'll just stay happy with what I have.

unfortunately I can't put a cardboard into my divided tank. their behavior is exactly what I don't want. once the wolf gets big enough I'm afraid that it might break down the divider.

I looked back on someone my old videos that the tank has enough room for two fish for sure. the rhom on the left is 9" and the one only right is 7" both are a bit smaller than what I have now but should still be fine. I'll just give the big guy a little more room.

Ok, I've decided that I'll put the two rhoms together.
the tank is already setup. put some big@ss driftwoods on the small rhom's side so that Ares hopefully won't break down the egg crate trying to get to the other side.

Funny thing is that Ares seems more "out going" now after I divided the tank. usually it'll either swim to the far side of the tank or stalk me behind a driftwood. now it just swim right to the open to check me out. probably protesting, "why the hell you re-arranged my mansion without my permission? I don't wanna share with an other rhom. I'm gonna eat that bastard one day, you'll see. just watch me".

the 75g is also done for the wolffish, what do you guys think?

there's a battle going on in that tank now. either they hate the divider or they hate each other. I'm gonna have to sell one. :(

How big is your Wolf Fish? Oh yea .. make sure you weight down your tank lid .. they may be somewhat inactive but they're really powerful jumper .. mine knocked open the lid and jumped at least 4-5 feet and landed next to my head where I was bout to take my nap

the mala is 6" and the microlepis is 10".
I have glass lids, so it's heavy already compare to the plastic ones most people use and I have 3lbs of weight on each lid.
