who to put

ok well i plane on buying a 125 in a few weeks and was trying to figure out who i should put in there ok this is what i have
1-carpintis (texas)
1-dempsey
1-honduran red point
1-fire mouth
1-synspilus
1-salvini
1-gold saum
1-compressiceps
1-managuense
2- labiatus (red devil)
what do you think will work for life in that tank ???

well the cichlids that you have that are the biggest are the synspilus, red devil, and the jag and the salvini i think , but they are also the most aggressive. So it may not work but then again it may work it like shooting craps . But as far as getting along i would then say the gold saum , the jd, the texas, the hondrian red point, and maybe the firemouth , he is what i would consider semi aggressive so it may not work. I thinks thats the best combo with the firemouth eing a toss up. The compressiceps is an african cichlid right so i would not seeing it going with any of those fish

Try Jag, RD, and Salvini. That should work.

The two Amphilophus and the Vieja alone should be a problem,the only giveable advice on this stocklist would be to watch everything very closely and seperate when needed.

not long term... 125 isnt really all that big, you cant keep many fish with the super-agressives like RD's.

plus the HRP would get eaten or bullied. i would say if you keep the W/C up because these will soon be BIG fish.

^ in a 125, thats not realistic long term. The Jag and red devil will, in all probability, kill most if not all other tankmates. I still say the jag, RD, and sal would work. If you leave the jag,Synspilus and RD out, you can put all the others in the 125.
