The two Amphilophus and the Vieja alone should be a problem, the only giveable advice on this stocklist would be to watch everything very closely and seperate when needed.

Man you ain't never lied that is going to be a LEVEL 5 situation!:WHOA:

i think you could do
snyspilus
pike
jd
gsaum
salvini

it depends on what you want to keep in your tank and then work around that
there are many viable options in this siutation

If your fish arent particularly aggro, and you do LOTS of water changes (im talking 40% twice a week), this seems like the best option.

I agree with this set up but still skeptical of the out look! But one thing for sure you will find out what that snyspilus is made of.

yea the syp will be most aggro
just depends on what you want
you could always replace, the syp with the hrp and fm if you wanted to depends though

^ in a 125, thats not realistic long term. The Jag and red devil will, in all probability, kill most if not all other tankmates. I still say the jag, RD, and sal would work. If you leave the jag,Synspilus and RD out, you can put all the others in the 125.
you'd surprized what others have gotten away with. in out LFS there is a Vieja argentea 10"+ with green neons, 10"+ oscar with green neons.... and by green neon iam talking about neon tetras:WHOA: so yes i could work but i might not but dont nock before you've tried it. not sure why you nocked the carpintis, dempsey and gold saum.... these are IMO alot stronger and more aggressive. Alot of people over exadurate the aggressiveness of cichlids......there FISH ffs:ROFL: its normaly just common sense on to what and what wont work out...e.g dwarf cichlids with snooks.

i have sajicas, firemouths, tho.ellioti, redtailed black shark and small severums with my 2 6"male jaguars, breeding pair of 7" jack dempsey and 7" gold saum and everything works out,yes this may change but i always have extra space if it kicks off.

try it and my money is that it will work;)
