NLS is truly an amazing company. While producing a product nearly identical in ingredient to many others, they have somehow managed to cultivate a legion of internet fanboys, spewing propoganda with the fury of a thousand busy fingers and clickety-key strokes.

Buying NLS is the aquaria-hobby's equivelant to carefully stretching on an Affliction shirt over your spiked-frosted tips and putting some Ed Hardy sunglasses on top of your head. You don't want to be that guy, do you?

That being said, I have some. I feed it to my Africans. It's a good product.

Personally I preffer Dianichi. Jeff Rapps suggest a brand called Xtreme . It's a much more douchy name than NLS, but they're legit. The media on their site comparing themselves to other procuts (NLS and Dianichi included) does make a pretty good case for their stuff.

lmao .....i wash my cloths in mud and dont wear shoes....so the ed hardy stuff is just not me

At 4" they should be handeling 1 or 2MM pellets with no difaculty. What kind of fish are they? NLS should be feed at a size the fish can swallow whole and not chewed. Smaller is better in this case.

well i dont know how many mm hikari gold mini pellets are but i wud say theyre maybe half the size of my nls, so im gonna just save the nls until there a tad bigger.

This view is based on what information? I use NLS. I have long before the whole "who's is bigger contest" surfaced on MFK. Tried them all, liked NLS so much I started selling it because I saw positive results. Does that make me a fanboy because I like it? Pretty brash statement about a large group of individuals with no facts to base it on.

Not sure what foods you compare to, maybe this xtreme food you mention, (which I would love to take a look at) but if you take hikari and compare it to NLS, and have any knowledge on ingredients you may take that ignorant statement back. you'd realize its like comparing the dog food Science Diet, filled with brewers rice, gluten and corn, with Holistic Select having superior proteins as the first two ingredients, using whole grains, and an overall much more rounded diet through the use of various fruit and veggie extracts, and proper vitamin supplementation.

huh? So much confusion here...

When the people who are bashing others for using it actually use it themselves...you know it's good stuff.
