Who uses scrubbies in their sumps?

Votes yes, I have a mixture of various media (Bio Balls, Bio RIngs, Scrubbies, etc.) in order to hold various bacteria. Surface layer plays a big role in where certain bacteria will grow, hence a mixture is BEST IMHO.

i do! i have about 120+ in my sump

I use them in my trickle filter for my outdoor pond.
Stuffed some in a hob filter.

yep.. as well as in my hob filters...

i also use polyfill and hogshair.. and prettymuch whatever else ends up in there
