So who else substitutes their fish collection for sleeping pills to get zzzs?
I know our hobby sometimes give us a lot of stress but in the end, its still my
sure fire way of helping me go to bed.

Anybody else besides me ? :(

it totally relaxes me after work. just watching them swim and eat puts me in a great mood. i usually watch them for awhile before i go to sleep.

Love to watch the fish before I fall asleep its awesome...

I can't stop looking at my tanks. I have my 55 in the living room...I never watch the TV anymore....it's on, I'm not looking at it. I have a ten gallon tank with some small cichlids next to my bed on the nightstand too....last thing I shut off before I go to sleep. When I moved I hadn't brought any of my tanks over yet and I couldn't sleep because there wasn't the hum of the air pump and the quiet trickle of water from the filters. Ahhhhhhhhh....peace....even when the Mrs. is hazing my ass. :swear:

I keep my brichardis by my bedside and though I don't aim to fall alseep I often do.

ALL of my tankz are in my room...so yeah, they help me go to sleep...they are the last thing i see before i go to bed and the first thing i see when i wake up! Its great!

all of my tanks have all of water movement.....
i wouldn't be able to fall asleep with all that noise
it's not loud or anything, but i like complete silence!

unfortunately, i moved all of my tanks out of my room, and theyre in their own seperate room, so I cant see them falling asleep :( , which is why I'm thinking about getting myself a smaller tank, like a 40 or so, and keeping something smaller in them, like maybe freshwater puffers, or by just moving my oblongus
